In the security reality Israel has known in recent years, the first question every event host asks isn't how many dishes are at the buffet—but what happens if there's a siren. At Mandarin Events, the answer is simple: the hall itself is a protected space (shelter). Guests don't need to run anywhere because they are already in the safe zone, which completely changes the atmosphere of the event. We are the only venue in Tel Aviv where the entire hospitality space is defined as a protected area. Therefore, even when the Home Front Command restricts gatherings, we can host events for up to 250 people—without gathering limits and without the need to split or postpone the event.

A protected space for all guests - not just a corner on the side

In many venues, the protected space is a small room or a corridor that fits only a fraction of the guests, effectively stopping the event when a siren sounds. With us, it's the opposite: our protected spaces are the hall itself across both wings. This means every guest is in a safe environment from the first moment until the end. There is no running, no crowding in hallways, and no moment where the celebration stops. Practically, this means you can plan an event for 20 to 250 guests with total peace of mind, even during tense periods, and even if guidelines change just a week before your date.

You won't even hear the sirens

Thanks to our acoustic construction and the layout of the spaces, sirens are barely audible inside the hall in real-time. Our team stays updated and monitors the situation throughout the event, but guests continue to dance and eat without feeling any interruption. Instead of an event that happens between sirens, you get an event that flows normally.

Fully approved: Business license, safety, and Kosher certification

The venue holds a valid business license, safety permits, and the protected spaces are approved by the relevant authorities—so there are no open questions or surprises on your big day. Our kitchen is Kosher-certified, offering the choice of Dairy or Meat menus tailored to the nature of the event and your guest list. Our house chef creates Mediterranean-inspired menus—from standing cocktail receptions to full seated dinners—and all menus can be adapted for allergies, vegetarians, and vegans.

Free parking and a convenient location in North Tel Aviv

The venue is located at Cliff Beach (Hof HaTzuk) in North Tel Aviv, with free parking available right near the entrance. In sensitive times, this is a true advantage: guests arrive, park, and enter within minutes, without searching for parking or spending time outside.

Perfect for both private and corporate events

The same protected space hosts boutique weddings, brit and baby-naming celebrations, bar and bat mitzvahs, henna celebrations, birthdays and family events, as well as conferences, company days, launches, lectures and training sessions. Many companies choose us because employees remain in a protected space throughout the event, reducing the need to cancel when safety guidance changes. Want to check a date? The Mandarin team will support you from the first conversation through the end of the event, including guest flow, menu planning and production.

Frequently asked questions

Are there gathering restrictions at the venue?

No. The hall itself is defined and built as a protected space. Therefore, even when the Home Front Command limits gatherings in other places, we can host events for up to 250 guests in an approved safe environment.

What happens if there is a siren during the event?

Guests are already inside the protected space, so there is no need to evacuate anyone. The hall's acoustic design ensures sirens are barely heard, allowing the event to proceed as normal.

Is the protected space officially approved?

Yes. The venue holds a valid business license, all safety permits, and the protected spaces are officially approved by the relevant authorities.

Is the menu kosher?

Yes. We offer Kosher Meat or Dairy menus under rabbinical supervision, tailored to your event—whether it's a cocktail party, seated dinner, or a chef's buffet.

Is there parking on-site?

Yes, free and available parking is located right next to the venue—a significant advantage for getting guests inside quickly.

Is the venue suitable for corporate events?

Absolutely. The same protected space is used for conferences, company days, launches, and lectures—alongside weddings, Brit ceremonies, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and family events.

How much does an event at Mandarin Events cost and how do I get a quote?

There is no fixed price: the cost is determined by the number of guests, your chosen menu (Dairy or Meat), the day of the week, and the season. Leave your details in the form on this page or give us a call, and we will get back to you with a detailed, no-obligation quote that includes all items upfront with no surprises. Guest parking is free and does not incur an extra charge.

Is the venue accessible for wheelchairs and seniors?

Yes. The entrance, guest areas, and restrooms are all accessible. The path from the parking lot is short and stair-free, and our staff prepares in advance for comfortable seating for those who need it. If there is a specific requirement, let us know during the planning stage and we will take care of it.

What are the event hours and when can we enter for setup?

Event hours are coordinated with you in advance, and we allow early entry for setup, sound checks, decor, and rehearsals depending on the complexity of the production. An operations team is on-site throughout the event to ensure the schedule is maintained.

What happens during an event if there is an alert?

The hall itself is a protected space, so guests stay in place and the event can resume once the alert passes.

Is the protected hall suitable for larger events too?

The hall suits events of 20 to 250 guests, and the entire space serves as a protected area.
